If you are asked by a friend, “why do I need Jesus?”, what is your answer?

“The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing.” Then certainly our response should be “how do we make it less foolish?” right? How do we make people want to become “Christians?” How do we tell people about Jesus without making them uncomfortable? Isn’t the Gospel simply “God loves you?”. (more…)

If there is a lie that I have found myself a slave to, it is this.  I would be a hypocrite to address this post solely to others. The biggest foothold that satan has is that we don’t recognize the lie.

I plan to begin a blog series called “Organic Lies: when Christians become disciples of the world.” In each post of this series, I will write about the beliefs that a growing number of Christians are accepting as truth. It is these lies, some subtle, some blatant which have infested parts of the Church and have grown as if an organism. Many of these Organic Lies stem directly from the world. (more…)
